IronbayAsset Recovery

Technology & data centers

Refresh cycles measured in months, hardware that still has a market, and a security team that wants to see the serial list before anything leaves the building.

What is different here

Volume on a deadline

A laptop refresh for 600 engineers, or a cage to hand back before the lease rolls. Scheduling matters as much as the price per unit.

Value that decays weekly

Current-generation laptops and servers lose resale value every week they sit in a storeroom. The fastest route to market is the one that returns the most.

Security review of the vendor

Your security team will send a questionnaire. We answer SIG Lite and custom questionnaires, and send the certificates with the reply.

Regulations we document against

Most technology customers run a standing monthly pickup for refresh returns and call us separately for decommissions. Devices under three years old are wiped and remarketed; everything else is destroyed and certified.

Chain of custody

The same six stations, every job.

01

Seal

Every bin, cage or pallet is sealed at your dock with a numbered tag. The seal number goes on the manifest you sign.

02

Transport

Company-owned, GPS-tracked vehicles and our own drivers. No freight brokers on data-bearing loads, ever.

03

Receive

Seals checked against the manifest, then every device scanned under camera: make, model, serial, asset tag.

04

Sanitize

Purge to NIST SP 800-88 and verify, or destroy. Anything that fails verification is destroyed.

05

Remarket

Devices that pass are graded, tested and sold. Proceeds come back to you, itemized by serial.

06

Certify

A certificate listing every serial, the method and the date. Recycling certificates for everything else.
